[...] Williamsburg Walks is an event on a car-free Bedford Avenue intended to make attendees rethink their public space and to offer a space to celebrate the neighborhood. There will be perfume mixing, pickle preserving demos, kids activities, walking tours, 12 public art installations, brewery tours, and a giant picnic in the middle of the street. The event is organized by Neighbors Allied for Good Growth and the L Magazine with the support of Project for the Public Spaces and of the New York City Department of Transportation Weekend Walks Program.
